Directions

Twain Harte is located on Highway 108, two hours North of Yosemite and two hours East of the Bay Area.

From San Jose

From San Jose take interstate 280 South which will change to Interstate  680 after crossing Highway 101.  Continue on 680 to Interstate 580 East toward Stockton/Tracy.

From San Francisco

From San Francisco Airport take 101 South to the San Mateo Bridge (Highway 92 East).  After crossing the bridge, join Interstate 880 North to Interstate 580 East toward Stockton/Tracy.

From Points West

West of Tracy, continue straight on Interstate 205, in five to ten miles the road merges with Interstate 5.  After the Mossdale bridge exit onto Highway 120, towards Sonora.  You will be on Highway 5 for a very short distance.

Continue on Highway 120 until it merges into Highway 99 North.  Be in the left hand lane of Highway 120 and take the Yosemite/Sonora exit, merging onto Highway 99 and stay in the right hand lane.  Take the first exit and turn right.  You are on Highway 120 towards Oakdale, Sonora and Yosemite.

Stay on Highway 120 East through Escalon.  In Oakdale turn left at the light by the railroad tracks onto Highway 120/108.  Highway 120 and 108 split at the Yosemite Junction.  Do not exit, continue straight on Highway 108 toward Sonora.

Continue through Sonora on Highway 108.  The new highway will end at a light at Peaceful Oak Road; take a right at this light and a left at the next light on Mono Way (this is the old Highway 108).  Take the first Twain Harte exit.  Follow Twain Harte Drive approximately one mile to Twain Harte Village.  Take a left at 7-11.  We are the third building on the right.

From Sacramento & Points North

From Sacramento, you can take the scenic rout of Highway 49-after you pass through Sonora, you are about twenty minutes from Twain Harte.

The most direct route from Sacramento is Highway 99 South.  In Stockton take Highway 4 exit East towards Angels Camp.  At the town of Copperopolis (before Angels Camp) turn right on O'Byrnes Ferry Road, stay on this road past Lake Tulloch until it ends at Highway 108.  Turn left and you will be thirty minutes from Twain Harte.

Continue through Sonora on Highway 108.  The new highway will end at a light at Peaceful Oak Road; take a right at this light and a left at the next light on Mono Way (this is the old Highway 108).   Take the first Twain Harte exit.  Follow Twain Harte Drive approximately one mile to Twain Harte Village.  Take a left at 7-11.  We are the third building on the right.

From Los Angeles & Points South

From LA area, the most direct route is Highway 99 North.  At Merced, follow the signs to Highway J59 East, to Snelling and Sonora.  After passing through Snelling turn left at the J59/LaGrange Road, towards Sonora.  J59 will end at Highway 108.  Turn right and you will be forty minutes from Twain Harte.

Continue through Sonora on Highway 108.  The new highway will end at a light at Peaceful Oak Road; take a right at this light and a left at the next light on Mono Way (this is the old Highway 108).  Take the first Twain Harte exit.  Follow Twain Harte Drive approximately one mile to Twain Harte Village.  Take a left at 7-11.  We are the third building on the right.
